The Inner City Arts Program is a “unique approach to arts education.” The Program focuses on visual arts, ceramics ,music, dance, drama, digital photography, or animation. In a unique partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District and local charter schools, elementary and middle school students are linked to Inner-City Arts for experiential instruction in the visual and performing arts. “Working individually, in pairs or small groups, students develop community-building skills including cooperation and patience, and gain verbal skills and confidence, as well as the capacity to trust their own creative instincts.”
